BRINGING SUSTENANCE & SUSTAINABILITY
Word of Hope is actively seeking partners in farming (agriculture and livestock), co-op and food processing. Village of Hope Farming is the newest initiative of Word of Hope, after acquiring a small plot of 60 hectares of land, and is multi-purpose. Most farmers see their product sold at meager prices for lack of processing equipment.

By working with partners like you, we can equip and empower Village of Hope and Light of Hope African University students to collaborate on community farming projects that will teach them a valuable trade and will help Word of Hope to become self-sustaining by providing food for the children at Village of Hope and by producing product that can be sold in the marketplace.

Once the farm is up and running, the next phase is to install a processing plant that will increase revenue potential by being able to process what is grown and convert it into finished products, not just raw materials, or source ingredients.

PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Village of Hope Farming is an excellent example of the value that Word of Hope brings to its community. The community farming project will create jobs for the local workforce while at the same time fill a training gap that has been identified to foster best farming and processing practices within the community, teaching a valuable trade.

We have partnership opportunities for community farming projects. We also have internship and missions opportunities.
